The progressive history starts by Ahmet Usta, the great grandfather of ÖZBAŞ family, with his step into the iron workshop in Salihli, 1918. The passion felt while giving a new shape to rock-like iron with fire became a legacy passed down from generation to generation to his son Çetin ÖZBAŞ and today Ali ÖZBAŞ. In 1975, the trading side of the company was started by Çetin ÖZBAŞ as ÖZBAŞ Demir Ticareti, later transformed to Çetin Özbaş ve Oğulları Koll. Şti.
Ali ÖZBAŞ, who learned the profession and trade from his father in his childhood, after these first steps, took over the flag and continued his investments and growth, came to Izmir in 1992 and established Pınarbaşı facilities, ÖZÇE Demir Çelik San. and Tic. Ltd. Şti. Today, ÖZÇE Demir, under the STEELLINES brand, serves its customers on the largest organized industrial zone in Izmir, Çiğli Atatürk Organized Industrial Zone, 10,000 m2 closed area and Pınarbaşı facilities. Continuing his investments abroad, ÖZÇE Demir made its first investment in Ukraine, purchasing a 172-decare land in Donetsk city and establishing Stellines Ukraine with 100% Turkish capital.
